Postconcussion Syndrome (PCS) is Physiological in Origin:
(We are merely patients and laypeople, but we say that following:) Heretofore, many governmental, medical, and other authorities have accepted the viewpoint by certain medical researchers from the 1940’s et seq. that postconcussion syndrome is merely a behavioral disorder of some sort. This determination was made on medical research analysis prior to the introduction and utilization of sophisticated brain scanning techniques. We recommend that government, medical, and other agencies update their descriptions of postconcussion syndrome to reflect 21st century findings in medical research. Postconcussion syndrome is not merely a psychological and behavioral syndrome. PCS is born out of actual physiological injury to the brain.
