The Brain Injury Network depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like you, to support our work and advocacy on behalf of people with brain injuries. All financial donations assist in helping us to maintain our peer support, information and referral, watchdog, and advocacy work; expand our services; and cover overhead costs. Making Financial Donations From Countries Overseas Please make checks payable to the Brain Injury Network. Send checks to Brain Injury Network, PO Box, #9276, Santa Rosa, California, USA, 95405-9276. The Brain Injury Network can only accept checks from overseas that are drawn on U.S. dollars. In the alternative, Brain Injury Network may be able to accept international money wires. Making a Donation by Participating in an Online Charity Shopping
If you like to shop on the Internet, Brain Injury Network is also in several Internet charity malls including iGive. These programs are free! In each case a donation is made by the merchant (not you). To shop at an online charity mall to benefit BIN, please select a button or link below. You will need to register at least one debit, credit, or supermarket loyalty card in the program of your choice.
Making a Donation Via the United Way You may also donate to BIN through the United Way. In the Sonoma-Mendocino-Lake California region, if your employer operates a United Way campaign, you may make payroll deductions through the United Way of the Wine Country (formerly the United Way of SML) to the Brain Injury Network. This is called a "designated donation" by the United Way. In the Sonoma-Lake-Mendocino-Humboldt & Del Norte Counties area, in most cases the minimum designated donation must be at least $120 yearly. (This would mean a $10.00 per month payroll deduction.) Contact United Way of the Wine Country and request a pledge form. If your employer conducts a United Way campaign, you may also contact your employer's United Way campaign coordinator for further information.
If you live or work outside of the Sonoma-Lake-Mendocino-Humboldt & Del Norte Counties California region, please contact your own local United Way. You may also contact the United Way of America for further information on giving through the United Way and also to locate your own local United Way. Please search the United Way of America website. On their homepage you can scroll down and find a search box where you may search for your own United Way. Input your own zip code, click on "go" and be directed to your own local United Way from there.
