I am a brain injury survivor. I want to talk online with other survivors of brain injury. Go to FACEBOOK. Send a message. Please explain a little bit about your brain injury. Say you want to join one of our Facebook peer support groups. You will hear back. But, please note, in some respects Facebook is not all that safe or easy to use. So, be warned. We try to keep our groups on Facebook safe but cannot absolutely swear that they are safe.
I am a family caregiver. I want to talk online with other caregivers. We do not support a family caregiver group at this time. However, there are quite a few Facebook groups for family caregivers. You want to choose the private (not public) groups. Explore who operates the group before you join. All Facebook pages are public so they may be OK to read but we strongly recommend that you not write about your loved one on any Facebook or other online community that is public.
