Effective December 18, 2013 this policy statement has been shared with the American Bar Association, fifty bar associations in the United States, several Code of Ethics working groups, several legal ethicists, several departments responsible for rules of professional conduct, several State Supreme Courts which mandate bar membership via said courts, the Center for Professional Responsibility (part of the ABA), the International Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association and its branches, the Commonwealth Law Association, and the Union Internationale des Avocates.
