Academic Attribution
The material on this web site and our other web sites is copyrighted. Do not use this material in your own work without proper attribution. If you do, we will eventually make note of that and we will publically call you out on that. This is something we want everyone to realize, but most especially academic professionals and researchers who should already understand the concept of academic attribution. They should also understand the concepts of proper citation, credit where credit is due, and plagiarism.
Additionally, this organization does not participate in research studies. Please do not attempt to join our survivor-only groups or forums for the purpose of securing study participants or in order to conduct "covert" research upon us. Our social communities are here for survivor peer support and for survivor advocacy work. We are not gathered here to be a pool of available research subjects for your work, no matter how meritorious that work might be.
We also do not accept advertising from authors, facilities, lawyers, publishers, researchers, service providers or others. We also do not sell information about our members for any purpose. We also do not maintain a database in order to harvest data for profit or research pursuits. There is, of course, a place for research on people with acquired brain injuries, but that place is not here.
